Missions

"You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 1:8

God’s desire  is for all people from every people group and tribe and nation to be saved. He wants a restored personal relationship with everyone. And God’s desire and passion for this is so strong that He sent His only son Jesus to make it possible for all of us to have a restored relationship with God.

Missions is all about loving people the way God does and about having the same desire and passion for others to be saved that God has. Missions is also about leaving the comfort and safety of the church and going outside into the community, region, and to other nations.  At Christ Chapel, our missions department is involved locally with our Food Pantry and contribution to the Pike County Backpack Program as well as our Feed Atlanta project. We also help the small community of Iaeger West Virginia and go on mission trips around the world. Missions are a vital part of "Saved People Serve People."
